Tea Parties

As a company that is focused on caring for our community, it is only natural for us to find other creative ways to reach out!  In May we held our very first Wild Rose Tea Party for the residents of Virginia Park Lodge.

With more than 50 attendants, many delicious snacks, several varieties of tea and live violin music, the event was a success!
Although the thought of wearing a dress and a hat varied in appeal amongst the Wild Rose staff, the residents enjoyed it and positive comments kept flowing throughout the afternoon.  Next time, we hope the seniors can join us in dressing up, and look forward to seeing many beautiful hats.
We would like to say a special thank you to Virginia Park Lodge for having us for tea, and to Amelia who was kind enough to volunteer her time for the duration of the event.  Everyone sang along and was very happy to hear the music and enjoy the company.

Pub Night/Silent Auction Fundraiser

Later in 2011, we hosted a fundraiser for the benefit of SAGE Safe House.  The Safe House provides temporary accomodations for men and women 60 or older who require a safe haven from an abusive situation.

Our pub night and silent auction was a success.  There was live music, snacks, art, and good company enjoyed with all proceeds donated to SAGE.

Group Walks

Wild Rose Caregivers provides service for many residents of long term care facilities and hospitals.  During our visits to see our clients we meet many other seniors who are lonely and do not receive many visits.

With those residents in mind, we provide "bonus programs" in the form of group walks for facilitiy residents.  We work with the staff to create a group of 5-10 people who would benefit from extra attention from our group of volunteers.

Wild Rose Hospice

Our Company has had many opportunities to support seniors and their families through difficult times.  There are many seniors in our community who pass away in Hospitals or in Long Term Care facilities.
Here at Wild Rose Caregivers we believe that our seniors should have a peaceful place to go and spend time with families while receiving top of the line care.

We are beginning to fund raise this year to create our Hospice.
